Anyone have experience using acronis, norton ghost, or any other disk imaging/hd cloning program with jaws?
I'm in the market for one, but would like to consider those software that has been tried and true with jfw.
I'm going to switch to a raptor 10k rpm hd and don't wish to reinstall windows, drivers, progs, etc. Simply cloning my current hd over would be perfect.

I've had experience with Norton Ghost 2003, it works well with Jaws, unsure of any newer versions, I have had no experience with True Image, what I'd advise is for you to make 1 base image, and just make updated image files, as you update your system. That way if something goes to hell, you can just restore from the most recent image and not lose much data. What I do is I backup all files that I don't want with my image, just leaving the OS Antivirus, Antispyware all updated, defrag, backup my registry with ERUNT, then image to 2 external drives, 1 after another. I do this every 2 weeks to a month, just in case, hth.
